Scooter Tools: Over Half a Million Downloads
Scooter Tools has surpassed half a million downloads 🛴💨
Yes, you read that right. Over 560,000 downloads. And I still can’t fully take it in.
Less than 3 years ago, a scooter with a speedometer you couldn’t see in sunlight was the start of everything. Today, over half a million people around the world use Scooter Tools to plan their routes and monitor the status of their electric scooters. Half a million.
The evolution in numbers
🔹 Total downloads: 560K (previously 441K, +119K, +27%)
🔹 A milestone I couldn’t have imagined even in the best-case scenario when I made those 12 attempts to get version 1.0 accepted on the App Store.
To put it in perspective:
- June 2024: 34.6K
- September 2024: 109K
- January 2025: 181K
- October 2025: 441K
- April 2026: 560K 🚀

🛴 What’s next?
I keep improving compatibility with more Xiaomi and Ninebot models, optimising the experience and listening to the community. Every update counts and every piece of feedback matters.
The website and the app keep growing in their 20 languages, and this doesn’t stop.
But Scooter Tools isn’t the only project in motion:
🔶 In Printer Tools, I added support for Prusa a few days ago, Octoeverywhere support is coming soon, and I already support 90% of printers on the market: Bambu Lab, Klipper, OctoPrint, Creality, Snapmaker, and Prusa.
🔶 In AdMate, I’m working on adding support for RevenueCat, integration with App Store Connect, and expanding the tools to manage app monetisation.
🔶 And what I’m most excited to share: soon I’ll be making the jump to native Android apps built with Kotlin. Bringing these tools to the Android community is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, and it’s finally on its way.
