# Scooter Tools

> Scooter Tools by FixoLab is a Bluetooth Low Energy dashboard, trip recorder and statistics app for compatible Xiaomi, Mi and Ninebot electric scooters

Scooter Tools reads live scooter telemetry through supported BLE protocols, stores trip and statistics data and provides tools for drivers using official firmware or compatible custom firmware. It is an independent app and is not the official app of Xiaomi or Segway-Ninebot

## Scooter compatibility

- Xiaomi and Mi Electric Scooter models using supported Official or CFW connection protocols
- Ninebot and Segway-Ninebot models using the supported NB protocol
- Compatible BLE telemetry devices such as CamiBLE where supported
- The exact protocol, telemetry and controls available depend on the scooter model, BLE firmware and main firmware

## Live dashboard and controls

- Connect, scan and reconnect to nearby scooters over Bluetooth Low Energy
- Display speed, battery level, voltage, odometer, trip distance, trip time, chassis temperature and altitude information
- Inspect BLE, DRV and BMS versions, DRV serial number, scooter status and supported error or alarm information
- Choose Official, CFW or NB connection modes and save a favorite protocol for a scooter
- Use compatible Ninebot controls such as lock or unlock, front and rear lights, riding modes, cruise control, restart and shutdown where the scooter supports them
- Use Not My Scooter mode to obtain speed and route data from the phone or tablet sensors without connecting to a compatible scooter
- Customize the dashboard by reordering, resizing, showing or hiding gauges and changing units, gauge colors, accent colors, themes and app icons

## Trips, routes and statistics

- Record GPS trips, save route history and review distance, duration, top speed, average speed and altitude data
- Replay recorded routes and export individual trips as GPX files
- Store statistics for multiple scooters and explore filtered graphs over minutes, hours, days, weeks and years
- Review battery health, distance travelled, energy use and other stored telemetry
- Export or import database backups as JSON
- Sync supported data between iPhone, iPad and Mac with iCloud

## Platform notes

- Android provides the BLE dashboard, Official, CFW, NB and Not My Scooter workflows plus local Trips and Stats foundations
- The current Android app keeps its route and metric data locally and does not include Apple iCloud sync or Wear OS
- Some connection protocols and device features vary between iPhone, iPad, Mac and Android because of platform Bluetooth capabilities
